Happy New Year to all members and friends of LSLC!  Winter is a time when our church attendance tends to be low due to weather, colds and flu. Also, many travel south for a long or short visit. If you miss church for any reason, remember you can watch and participate in the service online. It is generally available a few hours after the service has ended. At the top far right of the menu click on "online worship". You can also print a worship folder to allow you to follow along.

If you don't travel south during the Wisconsin winter and are suffer from cabin fever, we have the cure. On January 22 Pastor and Nancy will be hosting our first Cabin Fever Event of this year. It will be held at their home from 1-4pm. All members and friends of LSLC are welcome to attend. Maps to their house can be found in the narthex.

The Christmas Bakery & Gift Sale was a success! A check for >$1,100.00 will be sent to A Place of Refuge Ministries. Thanks to all who donated their time & treasure to make this a success. At the next OWLS meeting we will discuss if we will do this again next year.

Wishing you all a blessed Christmas!

OWLS (Older Wiser Lutheran Sisters) will be having a Christmas Bake & Gift Sale On Saturday, December 20 in the church fellowship hall. Even if you are not a member of OWLS you can participate by baking (cookies, candies, breads...), or making gifts. A small Christmas tree will set up in the fellowship hall to hang any ornaments that we will be selling. Also, please invite and bring family and friends as this will be open to the public.

September 21, 2022

On Sunday October 3o, LSLC will celebrate the Reformation. We will do this in our worship service as well as celebration dinner following  worship. To keep with the theme, it will be a potluck German Dinner. Invite friends and family to join us on that Sunday for worship, food, fellowship and fun. In case you didn't grow up in a German household (think sausage and sauerkraut), there is a folder in the fellowship hall with recipes/ideas on what German dish you may want to bring. A sign up sheet will be on the bulletin board.

Are any members of LSLC interested in attending a dinner at a local restaurant as a group? If so please let Nancy Emmrich know and she will set it up.

August 8th, 2022

Our 1st annual congregational picnic, on August 7th, is in the record book and it was a success!  We ate good food, played Bingo, listened to great music (thank you Comeback Chorus!).

Thank You to all who contributed, by donating food, cooking and bringing side dishes, set up/clean up and simply by your presence.
